I shot these photos in 2015 while on a tour of Canadian World War II battlefields in France. These are from Arromanches in Normandy. Arromanches is the location of Gold Beach where the British landed on D-Day and built a Mulberry harbour out of huge concrete caissons, many of which can still be seen off the coast. Some friends and I wandered around Arromanches and I shot these photos of fishing boats on Svema A2SH 400 B&W film.
