I was quite thrilled to discover a “duck crossing” sign when visiting Tauranga, New Zealand. Sarah and I took a walk one afternoon around this lake and true to form, I spotted some ducks crossing the road. While I understand why they would cross the road to get to the lake, I have no idea what the incentive is for the ducks to cross in the other direction. There are only houses on the other side.

Give me a notebook, a camera and a pocketful of film and I’m happy. Going Lomo is where I share my love for film photography, because a photograph not shared, only speaks silence.
