Sarah and I spent a few nights in a beautiful converted boat house on the Tauranga waterfront when we got married. I captured this sunrise from the window one morning and was thrilled to see that my Ultra Wide & Slim (and Lomography Color 800 film) managed to capture the scene despite the low light conditions. Not bad for a point & shoot camera with a fixed shutter speed! I think the grain in the photo gives the sunrise an almost painterly effect.

Thanks Khürt! I’m glad you liked it. I wasn’t expecting much when I took the photo, so I was quite thrilled when I first saw the scans from the lab.
