These photos of a Ferrari GTB 308 (my favourite car) were taken last month at the European Classic Car Meet. After the last car show I attended, I felt I needed a lens wider than the 35mm f/3.5 Takumar I had used that day. So a few months ago, I bought a 24mm f/3.5 Takumar and used it at the European Classic Car Meet. I had a lot of fun shooting with my new lens! I feel the 24mm focal length is perfect for shooting cars. I was able to get up close and still have the entire car fill the frame. I shot two rolls that day and could easily have shot more.
